how many raises have u had since ur joining in ur present job ?

hi .i have had only one raise since i joined the firm i m working in now.although i m happy they raised it but i think its was very low raise and also it was done very late too. i had been in this firm for one year now and i get pad equal to freshers.thats not very encouraging and good in my opinion.i think they should have raised my salary two times by now or atleast raised it once but enough . anyways wht do u think .do share ur experiences.

I have gotten one reason in almost two years and that raise was very small. I do not understand company's that don't give raises. It only makes since to me that when cost of living goes up so should the amount we get paid. Of course i could just be complaining because i barely make enough to survive.

i know that and i totally agree with u about the hke in every items cost.living costs had gone way high and our salaries are very low and at this rate living good life in a city would be very hard .

I do understand what you mean and where you are coming from. Its so sad to here that you getting paid equal salary with freshners despite the fact that you work for them for a duration of a year now. Also you mention getting a raise, but let me ask you a question; is your total salary still the same as new employee's despite the raise?. If thats the case i would review my employment contract and may be try to get some explainations from he human resourse department.

thanx for the legal advise and stuff .i really appreciate it but i m not gonna be in this company for long so i wouldnt bother getting it into labour court or elsewhere.though i m negotiating with the owner over my raise and the talks are going smooth so far but since every employer wants to increase his profit share by cutting down bonus and salary rises to a min amount so i wouldnt blame .thanx again .take care

Oh,all the company's leaders are foxy.They raise us little money every time.I have worked in this company for about two years.But,every time the HR rais us between 0-10% at the basic of our basic salary.So,it's very low.We'ar disappoint everytime.-----
