People tried to get him to run again. I think he was screwed out of being president back in 2000. I know he could win.

Well I am not sure if he could actually win the nomination. I know he had a lot of support, I supported him, however I think that the passion that Obama has stirred up is an unstoppable snowball of momentum. There are certain times when a country needs inspiration, and Barrack Obama has brought that inspiration with his campaign. Al Gore did get screwed out of the oval office, where the man he worked under got a much better deal. Ha, only joking! But seriously, I think Gore has realized that he personally has and can do much more for the country, and globe, by continuing his humanitarian and environmental work outside of government. It has been great to see the impact he has made in bringing awareness to climate change, and getting people to be more conscious about the environment we live in, and our effects on it! Go Gore!

Al Gore being President. That's an interesting idea and ironically, if the man were ever to make a political come back, he would be most reminicent of Richard Nixon, who was VP under Eisenhower, lost and election to Kendey and then came back three administrations later. Of course, we all know what happened to the Nixon administration. But I don't think Gore would do it. Since he got played out of the White House in 2000, he's become a much better known figure and achieved things like a Nobel Prize and an Oscar. While in politics, the man was desparte to live up to Daddy's legacy and his Boss. He was stiff and boring. What does it say about the fact that this man was the number two of an adminstration that precided over 8-years of uninterpupsed growth and still allowed an election to be stolen from him by a Yahoo from Texas who couldn't remember the name of his horse. Now that he's away from politics Al Gore is funny and relaxed. I think he's found his calling outside politics and I think he'll be much happier away from the snake pit.

I think I'd definitely consider him. I liked him when he ran but to be honest I know he got screwed out of the presidency. Face it, the public elected HIM, not Bush but Bush won because of our screwed up system of voting.

I would have to say no. I didn't back then and wouldn't do it now.

There is no way I could vote for Al Gore. I'd just as soon vote for Hillary first, and there is no way I'm going to vote for her either. Obama's the way to go. LOL Beamer23
