Why do you Mylot?

Taface, all of the reasons you have described would fit me. I also adore the strong friendships I have formed here in mylot. I kind of think of mylot as my favorite watering hole. I can come in and get a refreshing drink and be able to gossip till my hearts content about anything going on in the world. it just depends on the seat you take and who you are sitting next to.

I use mylot to vent usually. I like to play a little Devil's Advocate every now and then. I usually talk to my online friends on here as well.

For me, Mylot is very therapeutic. I work and live in an extremely conservative community. I can't always discuss my liberal views the way I would like to, for fear of alienating myself. As an elementary school teacher, I cannot afford to be seen as an extremist in contrast to the community. I do allude to my way of thinking, always, but do not discuss it on any kind of deep level. Mylot gives me a chance to express my beliefs with other adults. I also enjoy knowing other people's viewpoints and opinions, and very much enjoy the diversity found here. I like the fun little life connections people make through personal discussions here too, and am glad to be a part of that, also.

I do this because I like responding to discussionss and reading others views about certain topics. It has nothing much to do with the money. This is a way to pass time when I'm in a holiday.

I use Mylot because it's my only way "out of the house" so to speak. I am a stay at home mom without a license or a car so I don't get out much :-P But I come on Mylot and it just takes me away from things. I usually come on to see what kind of stuff people are talking about and as I am replying, if a question pops in my head, then I will make my own post :D Sometimes if something makes me really angry I will post that to see if others feel the same way as I do. But typically I come on to see what my friends are thinking about and respond to almost everything I read :D

I use mylot to look up some info and chat it up . I cant believe how many people have joined this site . I wonder if it will blow up like myspace. I like to play it cool on here and stay clar of fight . well that is for now , i am a newbie.

i mylot because there are some fun people here and they do come up with some great things to chat about. even some things that make me think about life. I mean i love the money i make but since i have so long that is the second thing i think about. i log on to see what my mylot friends have on their minds. glad you get to come up with ideas for stories

My main objective in joining myLot and coming online every day is to meet with friends from countries around the world and exchange ideas, suggestions, of mutual benefit. This is an excellent forum to help and cooperate among friends !

Great question. Since I have only recently joined Mylot I am still getting settled into find my main reason, but my list is definitely made up of a few reasons... 1. To make friends 2. To socialise 3. To network 4. To get word out about my business - if you are interested respond and I will let you know more. 5. To procrastinate on the work issue! :¬) 6. A way to get away from kids, kids, kids!! and more!

I use MyLot to socialize. I have moved around a lot and now I live out in the country so the computer is my life line to the outside world!

I MYLOT because firstly i need money and secondly it is my first chatting experience and i get to know a lot of things i didnt knew before.

Well, I originally signed up here to make money. I was looking for a place to get paid for writing. This site wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it seemed like a good place to start. I have really enjoyed posting here so far. The money isn't that great, but it is fun to get to know the people here, and getting a nickel or two for it here and there is cool too..
