Are Krusty the Clown and Homer, really brothers?

Have you ever noticed how much Krusty the Clown looks like Homer? He's the spitting image of the guy. Which makes me wonder if maybe he's Homer's secret half brother. If you took his clown makeup off, I think you'd see that he's really Homer! What do you think? Maybe Homer's absent Mom had another kid, years ago, and she forgot to tell Homer about him? That would explain why they look so much alike. Maybe this is something that will come out one day on the Simpsons. Krusty seems older than Homer. I'm not sure why I'd think that. He makes references to a lot of the old time comedians. Maybe that's just a character flaw. Is Krusty, the secret lost half brother to Homer? Or, did the writers simply recycle the "Homer" drawings into a new character to save money?

they do kind of look alike but i don't think that they will ever be written as brothers. homer does have a half brother that he found out about in one episode. i think his name was herb. he was a successful guy that invented cars or something. till homer came in and designed a real stinker of a car and herb lost everything.

Oh, I remember that now! Wasn't that Danny Devito? And, didn't Homer ruin his biz. That was so sad. But, funny!

You are righ beautyqueen. It's probably because they wanted to save money like you said. Most of the people on The Simpson's look similar (most of them are yellow, except a few of the characters). I don't think they're brothers becuase Krusty is Jewish while Homer isn't. Have a wonderful day. Pablo

you are very observant, I have never noticed that but I have noticed a very obvious thig that Marge's hair is a sign of her age, we get wrinkles, Marge's hair gets higher...

This is something I had never thought of before, but now you have me wondering. Now that you mention it, they really do look a lot alike, except for the fact that Krusty has hair, but deep down, they do look alike. Then, didn't I hear that Krusty was much older than Homer, in his 60s, or something? Maybe Krusty is Homer's Uncle, or something.

Good one! I had not considered that. Hey, you know, Krusty could be Homer's dad, cause Homer is nothing like his "dad". And, Homer's mom was a free spirit, maybe she fooled around. If Krusty's in his 60's, he would be old enough to be Homer's dad. Now that would be an even bigger shocker!
