Oh the frustration!!

So I picked up a kitchen cart from the store the other day because my new kitchen is tiny and I needed more space. I was really looking forward to putting it together today (yeah, I enjoy using tools) but damn son if it wasn't one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.. The wood was all warped on some of the pieces so they didn't fit together right... it kept falling apart... I was about ready to just smash the darn thing, but instead I finished it. Sure, one of the handles is on upside down (frustration can make you blind, ok?!) and the doors don't close right at all... but I am proud of it nonetheless...

I am proud of you too. I hate these things. I hate reading instructions too so that makes the task even worse! I'd get hubby to do it but find it is more stressful to listen to him! Out TV stand has an upside down unpainted shelf too and gives it a nice homemade quality.

I just hate when the instructions aren't clear... like when it just says "attach part A to part B" but there are like 20 holes in each one and you don't know which ones to use. LOL cute about your TV stand.

Awww Molly that is so annoying. It happened before when I tried to put my computer desk before. It didn't come with all the parts and we were half way through so we couldn't wait for the company to ship the missing parts. We had to go to the hardware store to buy the missing parts. I hate when wood is messed up...grrrrr, perhaps you should take it back to the store to buy another kit? Or maybe not because you had so much headaches to put it together. Pablo
