What did you make for dinner tonight?

I had friend chicken, soya beans, cauliflower and salads of tomatoes, cucumber and lettuces.

We had post roast for dinner. It was a very delicious meal. I braised and simmer the meat at around 12noon and by dinner time it was ready. The meat was soft and succulent while the vegetables were flavorful. For the veggies, we added carrots, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, some peppers and onions. I think what made our meal so delicious tonight was the fact that my husband finished the cooking while I was out at the yard tending my flowers. It was a team effort that resulted to a one-flavorful dish!

I had a couple friends over tonight to play D&D so while we were playing i put a couple frozen pizzas into the oven and cooked them. They went over pretty well and were an easy clean up after everyone went home.

My daughter was gone for the night, so I was lazy and made a ham sandwich...lol.

We had family coming and going this afternoon so I did casual country...barbequed chicken wings, barbequed ribs, mac and cheese, potato salad, corn on the cob, hamburgers on the grill. Paper plates, no fuss, quick clean up.

Tonight I decided to just eat at The Second Cup, since I was there for cofee and the internet, anyway. I had a nice egg salad sandwich. It was asolutely delicious.

Wow, I wish we could have gone out to dinner! I really want some of my favorite Chinese food but alas no, it's really expensive so, we ate at home. I didnt' have to cook dinner tonight [not my night] so my adult daughter made tostadas with beans, cheese, tomato, avocado. They were really good, super tasty! The boys ate burritoes with a tortilla and beans, little cheese that my daughter also made.

I am grilling chicken tonight and cooking our first head of broccoli out of the garden. I will probably try to have fresh tomatoes with it and maybe a baked potato in the microwave- it is too hot to do much with no air conditioning!

i ate hotdogd and eggs. i ate out. it is easier that way....
