how come doesn't he be bothered? he should know the problem and you need to confront him. it could be through a sensible concise talk (because guys resist long talks -_-) or through some agreement that you need to both approve to so that you both can see the consequences with each actions that you make or delay to do...

well to my own opinion i will just advice you still keep thingsmoving on with faith especialy when you are a christian and never you think is not botherd about it but as a man he will not show it to you and not to discourage you, Am sure he will have it in mind also that you guys needs to settle down soon cos you are not getting any younger, to the issue of your salary please kindly manage it for a while things are going to be normal soon, I will advice you have faith .

Talk to him like others have suggested, your salary can't support the expenses of you both, then you'd sooner or later have a problem with money. That's tough. You can help him do the resume ect, encourage him to strive for a brighter future. Money's not the most important, but his attitude to try his best for a better living counts. Hope you'll get over it
