I've just a while ago reached as high as 100 posts and been given a star for that. What benefit does it give me? Would you know???

Any stuffs here has a purpose, the star should not be there if it doesn't have it's purpose. It is the users reputation here, and for my own understanding, the more you have higher star in there and you have responded into certain discussions, for me you are more reliable to consider, but I am not saying the lower star number is not reliable, all of our responses here and our discussions will be honored since we are in public, what I mean is,it is the star number being provided to us by other users here.So the higher the number we have the better. This is for my own understanding.Thank you.

I do not know if there are any financial gains from the star rating. I believe it lets you and others know about the amount and quality of the posts you make here. I'm not entirely sure about it myself. Maybe others who have been here a lot longer than I have can have a more accurate explanation. Take care!
