How do you know the corn is sweet?

I wanna know how can we know that we pick the right corn coz i always get the wrong corn that the taste isnt sweet

the yellow color corn tastes really sweet, especially those Japanese corns. don't buy those small and creamy white corn, they aren't sweet.
