Do you say thanks when you get a Best Rate?

Was just wondering. I sometimes get a BR on a discussion I replied to without the poster commenting on it at all. Have you been in the same situation? Do you say thanks for the Br or you just assume? I think it is kind to say thank you! what do you think?

i usually say thanks when i get a best response. even if the poster didn't comment on my response. but there were times that i don't say thanks too if there is no comment on my response. i guess it just depends on my mood. yeah, its just polite to say thanks. after all, a best response is like an award and it do us good in our rankings and reputation.

I always feel happy when receiving a best response. It doesn't matter if I am the sole responder, or either one of the two, or among many. It is courteous to post a comment to express my gratitude to the host for giving me the best response. Hehe.... when I am happy I tend to be a bit talkative and always like to talk more, but not to say only "thanks for the best response". If I am busy I usually will send my thankfulness during my spare time.

Glad to know that we both have the similar views in this aspect. Hurrah! Let’s cheer for our moms as to cultivate us to have such good practice since we were young. Of course, I will pass this good habit to my little lkbooi. Happy posting and enjoy your beautiful Sunday.

I seldom do this, because sometimes I only go to that specific post to rate the discussion itself as a way of saying thanks to them. But if ever I was chosen as the "best response" the day I participated on that discussion and received a comment, then I might include the "thank you" message within those return comments I'd post. Because sometimes, I only receive that pencil without even seeing any comment made by the thread host and that's where I don't see any point of posting another comment just to give thanks to them..

Raijin, Thanks for your response. I have received a pencil without any comment severally and I was wondering ig to say thanks or to just assume. I find myself saying thanks anyway. I think a person should leave a comment then give a response a BR.

It's not that frequent that I get the best response. When I do, I make sure that I let the person who gave me a BR know that I am thankful for having been given the BR. I have received BR's on a discussion that I have responded to without the author commenting on that response. But that is fine with me. What is important is that I let the person know how much I appreciate being given the best response.

Dolce, I agree with you. It is very important to say thanks. I costs nothing to give two lines. Thanks for your response. Happy posting.
