We keep canned goods, flour, and sugar on hand in large (not huge) quantities also rice and other staples. We also keep a nice supply of tp and other necessities. We buy shampoo in large quantities when it is on sale with a coupon making it just pennies to purchase. We have toothpaste to last quite awhile. What do you stock pile?

I stockpile any nonperishable that I can get for free! I have shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, air spray, etc in my stockpile. I bought a really big upright freezer and when I find a good deal on meat, bread, or vegetables I buy huge amounts. I've saved quite a bit by shopping this way which my husband loves!

Sounds like you are prepared for anything lol. I love it. I can't see the mentality of only buying what you need for short term (one day at a time type thing). My brother is that way he never has any food for when times are tough but he won't change his ways either. Weird raised by the same parents in the same house had the same grandparents (our grandparents lived with us and had gone through the depression so our grandmother stockpiled everything) and yet turned out so different.

I have canned goods, water, flour, sugar, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, toliet paper, laundry soap, dryer sheets. We could survive for a little while.
