When any of my animals sneeze I do say "bless you" I am not quite sure why, I know they don't understand what it means. Maybe its because I say bless you when a human sneezes. Just wondered if any of the pet owners out there did this?

i say bless you when the cat sneezes. even when we had a hamster when he sneezed i said it. i grew up with my grandma saying that when you sneeze your sole leaves your body for that split second and if you don't say bless you your sole can be taken. it was something she remembers her grandmother saying and its just kinda gotten passed down i guess

Absolutly!
We also rub the poor dog's nose because she sneezes so violently that she bashes her nose on the ground!

I sure do! They've learned it's a loving expression so I guess they understand a little that I'm concerned for them. I also say it to strangers!
