Been to a barbaque this weekend

So have you been to a barbaque this weekend yet? I havent. Its perfect weather for one here. I could go for a some burgers and hot dogs and pototoe salad. I did have some watermellon at my aunts house yesterday. It was good. Hey maybe I will sleep all day.LOL And happy barbaqueing.

NopeBut I am going to have one for just myself, my wife, and dad. Burgers, maybe cheese added, roasted corn on the cob as I like it. Raosted onb the grill husk and all. Some chips and dip and maybe some baked beans or sald. But that's my dinner weather permitting. I BBQ in snow and rain and cold. What I mean is as long as there's not another tornado. 
I don't BBQ in tornadoes. Not yet anyhow. That would be a heck of a discussion.

The last Babaque I went to was 2 years ago which was the one my Son did
When I was still living with my Children, he did it for my Birthday and that was the last one we had
I used to love them I really did and talking about Potato salad I think I will make one while my Girl is here next week

Yikes I haven't been to a BBQ in ages...can't even remember the last time I was...but I always loved the smell of food cooking on a grill...yum...going to go to anymore?...can I come???

My dad had wanted to do a barbeque last weekend but plans got changed. That's okay though. I want to ask him to do one maybe next weekend.
Things are a bit hectic at our house at the moment...bit of a "family reunion"...if you could call it that

I could use some barbeque chicken with potato salad and some grilled peaches n' cream or grilled pineapple is always nice.

We did that yesterday, which is pretty standard weekend cooking for us. Now we have a bunch of left overs that will get reheated today.

An alternative idea for your BBQ leftovers is to transform them into a different -saucy- dish as warmed up leftovers tend to be dry and less tasty.
If you have chicken leftovers, convert them to a hearty chicken soup. Take out the best parts and cook the bones and lesser parts for 2 hours, together with onions, carrots and herbs on a low fire. Strain and put in a new pot, heat and add fresh vegetables. At the last moment, add the chicken pieces -cut small- and enjoy a great soup with a distinct BBQ flavour.

You want to see our weather here! It's been galeforce winds and rain all day long! Wet, damp and nasty, no chance of a barbeque even if we wanted one, which we don't I can't remember the last time I went to one to be honest, oh yeah I can, it wasn't pleasant so that's why I don't really want to remember it LOL! But thinking about food is making me incredibly hungry, I could just fancy a nice long sausage too!

Terry we were going to grill out this evening but now it has started to storm... so i suppose I shall be cooking inside, nothing big hamburgers hot dogs baked beans and slaw. I made a Dumpcake for dessert. We were invited to a BBq yesterday but opted out so that my husband could get a few things done here at home. That was fine by me. I laid around and watched movies, read and napped... How much better does that get?

We had a lovely bbq on Sunday with some friends. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we had a fun day of it - t-bone steak was yummy hehe! Hope to do it again next weekend.

We had our first barbeque the same week as you, as this discussion is one week old. We, my daughter and I, barbequed pork back ribs. They turned out so good. Also my daughter had a baked potatoe, but I didn't, as I am dieting right now and cutting out all carbs. I did have a big salad with it. I haven't had any watermelon yet, but I am looking forward to having some soon. I love my watermelon with a little bit of salt on it.

Nope no barbeque this weekend. It has been to stormy and rainy to get our grill out. We haver a Traeger grill and moisture can ruin it but oh my goodness it makes the best tasting steaks you will ever have! I will have to get it out when the sun comes out.

Yup! Went to one yesterday. We had steaks, chicken, spinach salad, and all kinds of yummy stuff. I love bar b ques...just can't get enough of them. We were supposed to have a bon fire aterwards, but the hostess's landlord didn't like the idea, so we compromised and roasted or marshmallows over an open flame in a table top grill. Not quite what we'd hoped for, but it did the trick.

i have been so busy with yard work that i havent been to a party . i did grill with my fiance yesterday and will again later tonight .
