Ever got "A smile that melts your heart"

my 8 month old son was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and the hospital did not even tell me. I had to travel to Barbados just to get this news...sad to say during physiotherapy i met another child with CP. Some people destroy life before it even really begins..those of us who pray for healthy babies are given what i could call Special babies....i love him to death....now i'm trying to get him to Shriners Hospital which i heard about from a friend of mine who can try to assess him if there is anything they could do to help him....healthcare in my country is so nonexistant when it comes to complications such as this.....God is love Naya

Naya. I like your opinion that these babies are special babies. I have Asperger's syndrome, and am missing part of my brain. The friggen Dr. that was my pediatritian at the time told my mother to forget about me, and put me away somewhere. In his culture "disabled GIRLS" are a double problem. Mom told him off, and found another doctor. Darn right these babies are SPECIAL!!!!

I dont pity you i admire you....at times on the bus to daycare in the mornings the kids just watch Navo....he stretches strangely when he cries and its like they are both confused and curious....CP is not a well recognised condition where im from....but i'll surely tell off anyone who tries to diss my son...when questioned i tell them about CP but the idiots are not concerned....
