A friend sent me this link to a Chinese website which shows graphic images of the devastation at the epicentre of the earthquake. http://umedia.nddaily.com/#20080515-8 It'll ask you to install Chinese character set - just click cancel you don't need it to view the website.

That's true. There's scarcely any building which is undamaged and most are just piles of rubble, roads shattered or covered in huge chunks of rock that hes fallen off the mountainside. One picture shows a road covered with massive chunks of rock and cars on the road as well. It's hard to see how some of the cars can have avoided being crushed by the rock falls. It will be along time before all that is restored. And in the meanwhile, the very strong aftershocks continue.

I actually got the pictures in my mail that a friend sent me. I just hovered my mouse very quickly as I couldn't stand to look at them really. They make me cry tear my heart apart. I also got the pictures of the cylcone in Burma and it's just making me sick to look at the photos. It's really gross and it gives me goose bumps.
Longing for a place free from all of this unpleasant things.
