What is a rule of a priest?

A priest is also a sinner. Just like us we committed a sin every now and then. However, people in other way are thinking why should they adore and going to church every sunday wherein the priest is also a sinner. Yes, the priests is also a sinner but they were given an authority from heavenly father to serve the people and guide them to wipe out their sins. Absolutely the priest is like a broom, very dirty but it can wipe out the messes and in any garbages. Therefore we should have to give respect to the priest all the time. They are also human just like us. I encourage everyone to spend time with God even without a priest. There are so many ways to serve God aunthentically.

i totally agree with you that a priest is also a human and a sinner as well... but they had dedicated themselves to serve God and study the doctrines and the Bible thoroughly before they serve us... so i think it is just right if we give them a bit more respect... take care and have a nice day...

well im not sure which religion your referring to, but yes the priest is a sinner, but is a sinner with authority given to him by god himself, so the people who think that way should seriously rethink their beliefs, and get back to church before they go to hell

Yes I agree with you, I don't want to offend anyone here as I am not a religious person as in man made churches and such, I believe in something but I also believe in inner worship, I agree with you priests are just ordinary people and churches are just man made stuctures, and people are going by one of many books when there could only be one anyway... people should have faith within themselves and listen to that inner voice that looks after you, I belive that is where something lies that we just haven't tapped into yet...

Since Jesus Christ die and shed his blood for us, we do not need any priest/prophet. Jesus Christ is the mediator between man and God. Yes a priest is a sinner. We were grow to respect Priest, Pastor etc. But do they do the work that was ordain to them in the respectful way that the bible said.
The word of God says, Shine your light, so that man on earth see your works and glory God which is in heaven.
Are Priest doing this today. As you say they are human, this is the reason why I am glad that Jesus christ came and brought salvation to us. Yes you are right serving God is authentic and ways to serve him is plentiful.

Which is one of the reasons why I don't attend catholic church anymore. Our priest wasn't exactly without sin either especially in the area of vanity and treating people equal regardless of how rich they are. I lost my respect for him by the time I was twelve, lol. You are right, they are just human and not better by any standards. They are supposed to live by example yet they are not without sin themselves. I attend a church where the minister is a mere leader in worship and a guide, not a self-proclaimed hand of God and above fail, lol. And yes, you can find God without a priest.
