How to promote with your job position?

Each one of us aims of having a higher position within our organization.Thus we have different styles,tricks,techniques or whatever you may call it.There were instances that people wanted to be closed as possible with his Boss to have him much room for the promotions. My concept is like this, I have one phrase in mind that helps me a lot to attain my goal, it is "If you want to be Uplifted, Lift Someone else", common mistakes from many of us that we don't want others below us to reach in certain position since we have fear that he/she will become our competitor in the near future, but if we believe,think,have goal,try our BEST, in the long run things will turn out for the best.

Read up on books that acutally give suggestions and tips on how to get yourself recognized. Being recognized as a talent or someone who is capable is really the key to getting promoted. There isnt exactly a one way solution to do and get promoted in the office simply just like that. It will vary, depending on the type of job you have, the boss you have, your colleagues and most importantly, your attitude. It is just impossible to go up the ladder in some companies because the boss just refuse to let you do so. If that is the case, I would say unless you have a willing to change attitude, you can forget about being promoted much.
