Ahhh...I cut my hedges today! It felt so great! Now I know how Edward Scissorhands must have felt. Lol!
I borrowed my mom's electric hedge cutters and turned those huge wild bushes into the nice little hedges they're supposed to be. It felt like such an accomplishment.
Anyone else like trimming hedges?

I once lived in a house that had a hedge along the front of the yard. I trimmed it with manual hedge clippers. It was a good thing that hedge wasn't very long or it might now be trees. However, I do remember the sense of satisfaction when I stood back and looked at that neat, tidy shape that resulted from my efforts.
I drove past that house recently (I moved from there in '81) and the hedge is still there and looking good.

Thanks for your response. No one responded for so long I was beginning to think I am strange for talking about this.
I'm glad to hear someone else feels the same as I do.
Mine was pretty long. I can't say it's very neat and tidy, but it sure looks better than it did!
