Rainwater

Do you drink water from the rain. When we were kids we usually frolic under the rain. And when it is the first rain in the month of May we were required by our parents to drink rain water, as it will protect us from skin ailments and other diseases. We drink rainwater because it is clean. But nowadays I think I cant drink water from the rain. The pollution is too much, the dirt around is too much. how about you, do you drink rainwater and do you like it.

Not really. I don't know but I have never tried drinking rainwater. When it's raining and I'm playing outside I don't think I get thirsty or even curious to swallow a drop or two from the rainfall. Well, if it's the only source of water I guess it will make me drink it otherwise I would die in thirst.

I should but it never occur to my mind to taste it. I have always thought rainwater is not for drinking even when I was very little. I thought that when water evaporates it gets purified up in the sky and the dirt is separated from it. But I could be wrong. Sorry about it.

You should have tried before, but now dont do it, there are so many pollutants in the air and it will go with the rain. Thanks for the response.

I used to take bath in rain. I have drank rain water when I was younger when I was young. I have never drank rain water after that. I think I will try to drink rain water in the future. I also think that the rain water is very clean and pure. Also, water in our place is very expensive and gives a very high water bill. I think saving rain water helps in saving the water bills.

Yes, rain water is pure but here in our place because of pollution rainwater is not safe to drink. As ive said before in the province we have a tank, cement tank and drums to hold on rainwater which we use in washing clothes, watering plants and in cleaning and clearing dirt.

I haven't drank rain water in years but as kids we did but then again we would also drink from the river. We use the rain water for watering the flowers and vegetables now but I prefer to use a water filter now, so no drinking rain water.

I don't think I ever drank rain water as a kid, and I certainly don't now. You're right, the pollution is too much.
