New to using Paypal

Hello my fellow mylotters,
I am new to the whole internet earning thing. I have made my first payout at another site and they use solely Paypal.
I do have an unverified account with them but was wondering, if I add my bank account and credit/debit card do they automatically send the funds to your card or bank account when you receive money or do they wait for you to request it to be sent?
I know it sounds like a silly question but it's better to ask and look stupid than to just stay stupid...

Hi anne,
Its not a silly question.Its a sought of question,most of the paypal users had at one stage.
You can withdraw the amount from the site,thats paying you to the paypal,even if its a unverified account...I mean with out providing your bank or credit card details.However ,to get the funds from paypal to your bank account,you need to provide the paypal site the details and withdraw the amount.And Paypal delivers you the amount in the local currency,depending on your choice and your location.

I do want it to get paid out to my account but not all of it. I want to use a part to purchase something and that is why I was wondering if they just transfer it to your bank account once it is in there.

Paypal will hold your funds until you instruct them to transfer them somewhere. You will need to verify your paypal account in order to be paid here.

Thanks alot. I am using my verified moneybookers here at the moment. I am glad to find out they hold it till you ask to withdraw.
