My first fundraiser is under way!!!

It took a while, and a few phone calls, but I finally found out that I don't have to do anything special to do the fundraiser I had in mind. No permits are needed, no reporting to the local or state administration - as long as all the money that is made goes to the charity, I'm good. Since I'm not taking a fee for operating the raffle, I can do it as much as I want. I'm participating in the Breast Cancer 3 Day walk in October and I need to raise $2,200 before then. I've got a few hundred already from my friends and family, but I need to step it up a little bit. What I'm doing to raise money is having a raffle. I'm selling 1,000 tickets, numbered from 000 to 999, for $5 each. During the month of June, I will match up the tickets to the Maryland Lottery Evening Pick 3 number and the person with the matching ticket wins $50. Since the ticket it good for the entire month, a person can win more than one time. As long as I sell all the tickets, I can raise over $3,000 for the walk. I'm hoping to run this raffle a couple times before October. If anyone's interested in helping out or would like to buy a ticket or two, let me know!
