Does your house ever smell like a wet dog?

For some reason, my house smells like a wet dog today. Not sure why. Ordinarily, I clean like crazy to keep down odors and germs. But, today is sort of humid and all the closet smells are really kicking in. I think the smell could be coming from one of my cats. She's having her "special time" now and is peeing on everything. If my kid lays a doll on the floor, it gets peed on. If my hubby leaves a towel on the floor, it gets it's own special rinse. I'm trying to keep things picked up, but it's not helping. So, that's making my day not so nice. How the heck do you get rid of that horrible smell, if you are surrounded by it and don't know which direction it's coming from? It's a mystery to me. Maybe, I'll open a window and see if that helps. So, anyway. Has that ever happened to you? Have you ever woke up to a really bad smell in your house, that just wouldn't go away, no matter what you did? Please share.
