Ok it's that time of year where the fleas are out in full force and they are bugging our poor pets and worse yet trying to find their way into our happy homes. Grrr.
I have been using a product called cutter plus for pets. It's by the poeple who make the but repellent that we spray on ourselves when we go camping or just on a nature hike. LOL!! Well it a five in one product it says it repels and kills fleas, tick and mosquitos and also kills dog lice and ear mites and it also klls flea eggs and larvae. Hmmm
I have used it for over 3 months now and I haven't seen a single flea on my puppers yet alone him itch more than once a day. LOL!!! I know that there are alot of product out there and now that it's finally getting hot this will be the ultimate test. So far like I've said I haven't seen a single flea on him .. Yeah. and here is the beauty of it all the product cost 5 bucks for 3 tube unfortunately you have to order it online so you pay shipping and handling for a total of 9$ .. Ok that is better than 40$ if you ask me. But I will say that I have been a person the prefers frontline for my kitties and will keep it that way. LOL!!!
So what flea meds have you found to work for you?

I have no pets now, but I used to use frontline and I totally agree that it works on them fleas. I used to hate this time of year, they just used to be everywhere. They are such a pain to get rid of too. Even when all my pets had gone the fleas lingered for a long time after, pesky little things.

yep they try and eat the pet and the humans alive if we let them. LOL!! but I so far seem to have it under control LOL!! take care.

I don't get fleas so I don't foresee much of a problem.

Bella, frontline is not working for me this year, I swear every year the damn fleas are harder to combat. Where do you order this Cutters? I am willing to give anything a try!

dog.com or valuepet.com either one of those or do an online search. I know what you mean you have to switch it up so that they don't become immune to what your using. LOL!!!

OH THANKS sweetheart now I can't stop scratching! We use a product that you just put on your cats neck and it is supposed to kill any fleas and it must work as we have had Tia almost 10 years and she has never had a flea at all! I wish I could remember the name but hey I make the other half deal with that! xxx

same thing here it goes on between the shoulder blades of the puppers. LOL!! I use frontline for the kitties.

Thank God i don't have to deal with fleas because I know how problematic they can be. My issue are ants, I saw trhem a couple of dsays ago and was not very happt. My neighbour told me lemon juice was good to use. Place it around the doors and windows.

tansey.. its the only thing that ever worked for the swarm of little biting pests that invaded my home, and had gotten so bad i was contemplating putting flea collars onmy daughters ankles because they were quite literally eating her alive. my father in law draged me outside while i was poised to call an exterminator.. and showed me this plant. with pretty yellow flowers on it. we cut down a bunch of these plants.. brought them in, stuffed them under beds, furniture, and rugs.. and voila. all gone.

I'll have to look into those .. LOL!!! Thanks goodness that I have the puppers on cutter and the cats on frontline and I have not seen the biting pests yet.

We had a terrible flea problem (daughter took in stray kitten that started it) and had to bomb my daughter's room, put carpet stuff down in the other bedrooms (tile in the rest of the house), Spray all bedding and pillows, wash all bed clothes and got our big dog (4 month old Akita) on revolution the small pup is on store bought remedy till august when he goes on revolution also. Now we have no problems.

"the fleas are coming the fleas are coming" LOL that made me laugh!! Well I have 6 fuzzy children and none of them have issues with fleas luckily..mind you our cats are all indoor cats and the dogs get that liquid stuff you put on their necks once every month I think it is and it works fabulously! forget the name of it though...I think it might be Advantix or soemhting like that...I'll have to ask my husband.

I have no comment about fleas because Harley uses advantix and I have never seen him do more then gnaw on his nub but I had to comment because I am falling out of my chair laughing at your typo.

Tell me where I can get it the next time I go hiking with your SO.
