Well, I sometimes skip breakfast that is when I wake up late and I don't want to be late in my work too, so then I wouldn't eat breakfast to save my time. But generally, I eat breakfast because my stomach would always complain if I will not put something in it. There are may reasons why people skip breakfast. Do you hve valid reasons to skipe the most important meal of the day? Jus curious to hear your thoughts.

At least one of my four kids is usually up before me. Many times two or three of them. So I get up, start the coffee, and get them going. Then I get a start on my household tasks, guide them through their daily taks, and before I know it its 10 or 11 am. I do end up sitting for a bowl of cereal maybe twice a week. I'll often pop a bagel in the toaster when I start my coffee, that way I can munch on it while I'm getting other stuff done. But, I am rarely hungry within the first two hours of being awake, and I wont eat if I'm not hungry.

I usually end up skipping breakfast because i have two young children at home and getting them ready for nursery and going out it isn,t until about 11.30 that my stomach starts rumbling and then i realize i have'nt had breakfast.I don't intentionally miss it as breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day but i always end up rushing about.Maybe i should get up earlier.

Some mornings I get busy with my daughters routine. Then around lunchtime it hits"Hey you haven't eaten yet." If I am in a hurry skipping it is quicker. I always seem to be able to grab some coffee.

I'm generally not hungry in the mornings so I do skip breakfast but I do eat a snack around 10:00. On the weekends I can go all day without eating if I'm busy and I have to watch that because that's definitely not healthy.

Im weird about breakfast. I can never eat right when i wake because Im not hungry. Then when I am hungry I usually want to eat lunch or supper food. Unless I go to one of those all day breakfast places, then its fun to have eggs and bacon at the wrong time of day.

alright!! another interesting facts. Yes there are some people who are not hungry when they get up and they end up eating, breakfast and lunch at the same time. Well, according to the health experts, breakfast should be eaten because it is the most important meal of the day. Thanks for sharing.

My reasons for skipping breakfast: (when I was still in school): "I'm going to be late!" (after graduating from school): "It's almost lunch time anyway." or "I'm still not hungry, I'll just have a snack." (which is more likely serves as my breakfast already). LOL. :)

Now that you mention it... I'm really starting to become weird. I skip breakfast and just eat a lot at lunch. Hmm.. probably because of my sleeping as I have a very irregular sleeping pattern.

Yes, that's right too. some people are used to not eating breakfast and eat a lot during lunch but it is not still a healthy practice according to the experts on health. But I for one is also a victim of this skipping breakfast sometimes. I hope I could make it a point to always have it everyday. Thanks for the reply.

I used to eat breakfast every day untill few days ago. I really wanna loose some weight and I've noticed that have this habit or need or I don't know what to call it, of eating at around 6 or 7. I just feel that hunger that i can't satisfy and I have to eat. It really makes me crazy because I want to skip dinner or eat just a fruit or something like that in order to loose some weight, but it's just impossible, I can stay without food the whole day but at that time I just need to eat. So I decided to skip the breakfast eat an light lunch and then eat what ever I want from 5 to 7. I try to control myself and I eat as little as for dinner but as I can't totally skip it I prefer skiping breakfast.

Well, I skip breakfast when I don't like the food. I mean when the food is not inviting to me, I don't feel like eating breakfast. Sometimes my breakfast and lunch would go together. I eat breakfast at lunch time. Oh!! that couldn't be considered as breakfast but that's what I did sometimes. since I am at home most often, there is no regular time for breakfast for me.

I don't eat breakfast. Maybe once in a blue moon...but, I really don't eat it on a normal basis. And, my reason is because I am not hungry when I first wake up and, when I have tried to force myself to eat breakfast because I know it is good for me, I get nauseous and a bad tummy ache. I hate heading to work feeling sick to my stomach so, I just skip it and opt for a Vinti Latte from Starbucks to fill any potential hunger I might have...even though I really am not hungry when I wake up.

When I don't eat breakfast it's usually because I have forgotten. Strange, I guess. But when I get up, I have to take out our 10 month old puppy. Then I have to walk our 2 year old dog. After that, I have to feed our 2 dogs and 2 cats. While the first pot of coffee is being made, I'll do the few dishes that might have been left from a late night snack and from my hubby's breakfast. I might turn on the computer too, and check my email. If I'm thinking straight, I'll stop then and eat something nutritious. But if I'm already having a day of pain and brain fog (I have fibromyalgia), I might just dive into my 3 favorite web sites (this is one, of course) and the next thing I know, it's almost time for lunch.

I used to skip breakfast if I was in a rush to get to work and do not want to miss the bus or train. Also, if i started a very early shift that was so busy and I'd forget to have breakfast and would make lunch. I don't anymore. It's true what they say - it's the most important meal of the day.

I never skip breakfast on a week day, but nearly always do at the weekend, mainly because im up later so tend to just have an earlier lunch. Maybe not the best 'excuse' but it is true.
