i jus got a phone call a fren wants to know what causes yeast infection and if there is any home remedy rather than going to the doctor. i suggested she drink a whole lot of water and cranberry juice to flush the system. what are your suggestions?

cranberry juice will not get rid of a yeast infection. They have momostat three which you can buy over the counter. It works great. But she should be positive this is what it is. If she has never had one I would suggest she go to the hospital, especially if she has allergies to certain medicines. Cranberry juice helps to flush out our system it is great to help prevent urinary tract along with kidney stones. Good Luck to your friend
