YouTube volume levels on some of the clips

Does anyone find that the volume levels on just a few of the YouTube video clips is very low?
For instance, somebody put the whole movie, Vera Drake, onto YouTube in several parts. I'm sure a lot of people are very grateful to that person and would love to watch Vera Drake, but sadly the volume is so very low on it that it's inaudible almost.
I have put all the volume settings and volume defaults in several places on my computer to the highest they will go, but still I can't hear Vera Drake properly. Someone suggested I use a headset, but I can't do that as firstly I don't have one, and secondly the job I do means that I can't block my hearing off from what's going on around me, and having the sound from music or a video going directly into my ears, could mean that I make a mistake work-wise due to not hearing my phone ring.
Would be glad to read the views of others.

I've noticed that too on a few videos. It's usually the fault of whoever put up the video. If you can hear all the other videos fine, it's not your settings.
Usually if I think it's me I'll look at the comments and often you'll see several people commenting that they couldn't hear either. I've seen some music videos that really looked like they'd be good and I was disappointed about the sound.

Thanks for your reply, and I'm glad it's not just me.
I can usually hear them OK, but like you say some people who put the video on the site don't seem to sort the sound properly. Let's hope they read the comments underneath those videos and change it.

I notice on some recorded music volume levels change. I don't have any advice though as for the volume... hope something works out
