Have you ever expected something and at the last minute you didnt recieve it? Have you waited for it patiently, telling everyone, making plans about it, and at the last minute, you were let down. We should let our hopes up for that reason, but we cant help it. Why do you think this happens? I think its because God has other plans then to give you what you want. What are some things you've wanted so bad but didnt get? Let me in on some thoughts....

I could really use some money! But actually, I have nothing to feel bad about.. although I think we all are disappointed a few times in life.. whether it's for some goal, or person, or a healing.. Sometimes I think it's us.. there's something blocking the receiving of the blessings.. sometimes, that is...

"We should let our hopes up for that reason, but we can't help it." --makes me remember as a child....when you wait for something and wait for soemthing and it may or may not happen....it is the heart of our inner child who let's this happen....but it is the cynical adult lurking in the background that keeps telling that child it might not happen. But we do need this to keep going. What kind of life will you lead if you always worry about things falling through. And trust me I have had my fair share and the next guy's share of this kinda stuff....and I have been far too cynical and worrisome....so I am trying to harnass that inner child called Hope. Oh, and I wanted to be married to a wonderful man and by now working on a second child.......and currently I have none of the above. But Hope still lingers....

Those aren't let-downs, because I don't count on anything until I see it. If it was rightfully mine and I ddi not get it then I will fight for it, but I will not get my hopes so high as to be knocked down in the end with disappointment.

I kind of know what you mean here. I have been wanting to become a wedding photographer for a while now. I know that I need to work with a professional to really learn the ins and outs of the business. I thought that one of my local photographers was going to be willing to work with me, but when he found out a had a full time job, he backed out. I haven't been able to find one local wedding photographer in my area who would be willing to work with me now or even look at my portfolio... it's kind of sad. :(
