I was a kid in the 70's and I would get one dollar for my allowance each week and I would go out and buy a single 45' RECORD with it. The first one I bought was by Donny and Marie Osmond called "Deep Purple". I played it about 50 times the first day. The first record ALBUM I bought was 'Foreigner' I don't think it had a name, I think it was their first album? It's the one that had "Cold as Ice" on it. How about you? Do you remember the first one you bought? If you are young, the first music you bought may have been a CD. If you're somewhere in between, maybe it was a tape...or maybe even an 8 track!!! I had one 8 track tape. It was Andy Gibb! It had the song "Shadow Dancing" on it. Lol.

When I was young, I won a free gift certificate to a record store in a draw after a 2 mile fun run, that I had ran. I had went with a friend and his mom. She was afraid if she didn't go ahead and take me to the store, I wouldn't be able to cash it in. I bought Michael Jackson's album, "Thriller".

The very first and the very last CD album I bought was of Joss Stone's first release. I don't know why I bought hers over other artist's album. Maybe because she's new and likable. Her first album was good though. I like it.
