Can you put down a book mid chapter? Or do you have to reach the end first?

I hate when I have to put a book down in the middle of the chapter. I only do it unless I really have to. For instance if I'm getting really tired or something more pressing is going on like I have a chore to do right now or I have to be somewhere such as class or whatever. Otherwise I'll finish reading until the end of the chapter and then save my place for later.

I usually cannot set aside a book if I am in the middle of the chapter. However, there are some times that I force myself into doing it because of things that need to be attended to.
So before I start reading, I make sure that everything is in order before I sit down and read a book. This way, I would be able to enjoy my book in peace. If I am about to fall asleep, I try to reach the end before putting the book down for the day.

I can stop in the middle of a chapter, that doesn't bother me. However I can not stop in the middle of a sentence or page. I HAVE to finish the page and the sentence. If the sentence continues to the next page i keep reading to a page that ends at the end of a sentence.

Hi there syeryn!
Yes, I can do that. I always do that. I just read the book when I am in the toilet or if I have nothing else to do so when something needs to be done, I really need to put the book down.
