There were many people giving lots of questions to Catholic religion.Others is trying to crawl what has been catholic is believing, the most common is the Saints,Cross, etc. Yes its true that catholic act like that because they are just refreshing what Jesus Christ done based on the Bible. But the thing is, it is their belief and we should respect that. I was a catholic and I proud to be a part of this religion,in fact I was a member of Couples for Christ. I can pray directly with God and I was doing it daily after and before bed.Let me give my thoughts regarding believing images, cross or whatever. This theory was came from my father and yet he is not active in church or any groups, He said to me, My son, Do you know your GrandFather?(Yes)How he looks?(I get the photos and show to him). For me, since we did not see them in real, there were people who act as a father or mother to let their kids believe their grandfathers/grandmothers work.

you need images to pray for God? if that so you are far away from Him.. because you need image to remind of Him.. consider this situation: your husband/wife is working far away.. so you need an image to be reminded of him/her.. but if he/she is at home you don't need an image right? so you don't need images to pray for God it is because He is living in you... if you accept Christ as your Personal Lord and Saviour.. Romans 8:10 "...Christ lives in you," :)

sorry if i may offend you.. really i respect what are your beliefs.. im a Roman Catholic before... but i just follow what Jesus Christ Commanded us in the Bible.. Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. the following are what God said about images: Isaiah 44:10-20 Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit him nothing? He and his kind will be put to shame; craftsmen are nothing but men. Let them all come together and take their stand; they will be brought down to terror and infamy. The blacksmith takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm. He gets hungry and loses his strength; he drinks no water and grows faint. The carpenter measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses. He shapes it in the form of man, of man in all his glory, that it may dwell in a shrine. He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak. He let it grow among the trees of the forest, or planted a pine, and the rain made it grow. It is man's fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it. Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, "Ah! I am warm; I see the fire." From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, "Save me; you are my god." They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand. No one stops to think, no one has the knowledge or understanding to say, "Half of it I used for fuel; I even baked bread over its coals, I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make a detestable thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?" He feeds on ashes, a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, "Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?" regarding Jesus Christ, He is Sacrifice ONCE for all (Hebrew 10).. not many times.. :)

that is true.and I agree with that. But people have different interpretation as far as the verses in the Bible is concern, for that phrase means,if Christ does love his enemy that means, others can do too.

yes.. and that does not made you our enemy.. God love us so much even tough we are so wicked.. Romans 3:23 said for all have sin and fall short in the Glory of God.. we are all sinners, you know we are equal on God's eye.. you can go directly to God (Jesus Christ) to forgave you of your sin.. He is the only way the truth and the life (John 14:6).. :)

I was born and raised a Catholic. Happily, I have outgrown Catholicism and have gone on to higher things. I could never understand the concept of hell. Priests say hell is a place where God is not. If God is not in hell then can he be a legitimate God? I would expect God to be everywhere, even in hell. I also cannot understand the concept of the Devil. I prefer to have only one God, not a positive one and a negative one each claiming my soul.
