How do you organize your closet?

You just reminded me that I need to do the same thing. I hate this job. I am trying something new this year, as I am washing and putting away our Winter clothing, I am using those space saver bags that take out all the air and then I can either put them under the bed, in a chest or in a tote.I have a small closet in our bedroom and another one in the room across the hall, my office/guest room. It is still not enough room, but these bags may save me money and time next Winter since I will not have to re wash them, they should come out of these bags clean and fresh smelling. We shall see. As far as how I store my shoes, the ones I wear the most often are sticking out from under my dresser, the other ones I have are in wire cubes that I bought at a dept. store and are in a row on the floor of our closets to keep them neat.

I don't have much of a closet to organize but I have my shirts on one side pants on the other. I also keep all my work shirts in one group and work pants in one group. I have a hanging cubbie thing in the middle.
