How do you measure true friendship, or can you?

What is your basis or how can you say that your friend is a true friend? Is there really a way to measure it? Would you put it to the test?

The only way I know how to measure true friendship is with my heart. Friends are put through a test every day whether we plan it or not. If your heart is whole when you think of your friends I would say you have an excellent relationship!

II know my hubby is a true friend because he is always thre for me in any crisis. Sometimes he is not always as supportive as he could be but he is there and always someone I can depend on.
