Vaniderm and Lucida DS are whitening products that failed to pass the laboratory test by thr Philippine Institute of Pure and applied Chemistry which is an accredited laboratory of the Bureau of Food and Drugs. The fact that only 7 out of 9 skin whitening products being sold in the market today failed the thorough and independent lab test. Consumers, what can you comment about this issue?

It's sad that companies have to cheat on their customers. If it were true that these companies failed to pass the laboratory test conducted by PIPAC, customers have to exercise extra care in buying such products. A lot of companies forget about their social responsibility towards their different stakeholders including their customers. Sad but true. I may not really be a big fan of these whitening products but I really pity the people who spent a great deal of money just to buy these stuffs and end up learning that the products are not really effective.
