Do U Own Joint Accounts....Can U Trust?

Me and my partner have a joint account yes i can trust him. With the car it is in his name because i do not drive. He is the first person i have had a joint account with. As i never trusted my first husband with money and refused to have a joint account with him.

We share everything all our money is in one account everything we own except the car is in both our names. The car is paid for outright but in his name etc because I dont drive. I trust him comepletley

My husband and I both had bad experiences with people before we met eachother, that basically controlled us with money. For me it was a parent, or him it was an ex-wife. We also have very different philosophies about managing money. We work better with our separate accounts. Of course we're also living separately because o his job. I'm in Ontario, he's in Arizona, so we are maintaining our own residences. When we both settle up here in Caanada, we will keep our eparate accounts, and then open a joint one that will ONLY be used for paying bills, so that we can both access the account, and whoever sees the bill first, can physically pay it.

My husband and I share everything that we own. We have a joint bank account and we are both on the paperwork for our house and car. I trust my husband completely and he trusts me, so it's not a big deal to have it that way. In my opinion, if you don't trust your partner/spouse enough to share a bank account with them, then you shouldn't be with them.
