Associated Content, part 2

Earlier, I asked if any mylot users had an account with Associated Content. I wanted to know the truth. Now, I've got the truth. I took a few articles and essays that I'd already written and had gathering dust on my hard drive and submitted them. So far, I've received $15.57 from Associated Content, and that's on just a few articles. I'm very pleased with the way things are progressing. So, for the others that were wondering if it was genuine...it is.

Oh!! congratulations!!! that's good news. Yes Associated content is really genuine. That's what I heard from others. Good luck for more success in that site. Of course don't leave Mylot. lol

In my opinion, mylot is more about dialog. To me, mylot is sharing ideas, and Associated Content is more about sharing knowledge. The two can, of course, overlap, but that's the way I see it.

Well, they do use performance payments. For every 1,000 views, you receive $1.50. However, there is also the upfront payment for certain articles. I submitted the articles that I received $15.57 for about a week ago, and now the money is already in my paypal account.

Sdas86, you can't submit articles to Ac that you already had published to other sites unless you put it under non exclusive.

I'm a little bit mad at myself. I JUST threw out all of my college term papers that I've been stashing in a drawer for years. I could have typed them up and put them on there and probably would have been paid something for them. UGH! I don't even have files of them anymore, I only had the hardcopies. That stinks! So mad!

I am on several writing sites including AC. I have written over 118 articles and am earning a steady income on a monthly basis and really enjoy it. I love that you can earn a residual income after you are paid upfront for the articles on AC. Keep up the great work!!

I wrote some article for them that I thought were pretty high quality. They wouldn't take them because apparently they weren't formatted correctly. I tried twice.but to no avail. I've moved on to other sites.

Just wondering...what kind of sites have you moved on to? I like Associated Content, but that doesn't mean that I can't also spend some time elsewhere.

I have an Associated Content account as well. It's a pretty good site to have your writing exposed. Wow, you made over 15 bucks? How long did it take you to earn that? That's great. I'm always having trouble with referring others. I don't have a blog or anything and I don't even know how to make a decent one. How do you get more people to read your work and visit your page?

it is just easy to get page views. In the site there is a book marking button where you could post your articles and send it to your friends too. Just try submitting articles and ones you get publish.. go to the book marking button and book mark your articles. There are about more or less 20 sites.. to bookmark your work. Good luck!!!!

Wow. That is really good income. I haven't written anything for AC in a while. The only article that I got paid for upfront I got $10 which was good. I don't really have much money from page views but once I start writing articles for them then I'll probably earn more. Good going and keep up the good work.

Hello rpegan. Yes, AC is for real. I have only 5 or 6 articles there, so I haven't earned a whole lot but I am currently working to build up my articles there. Congratulations on earning money there so quickly. It's nice because they might pay you something up front PLUS you get the performance payments, to keep it earning something for you all the time. U all in the States are very lucky to be able to get upfront payment from Associated Content.For the rest of us, we just have to wait for them to open up upfront payment .Wonder when it'll happen?

If it is true then it is worth trying. I think if the content of the article is good then they will pay u.
