Why is she the only girl?

My kids are sitting here watching a Winnie the Pooh movie. I never really noticed before, but Kanga is the only female in the Hundred Acre Wood. Everyone else, Christopher Robin, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Roo, even the beaver(whatever his name is) are all male. Why do you think that is? Any ideas?

maybe the females in the forest are shy or protecting their young...I think you should be a detective, I would never have even thought about that...very good observation...
