i went to my old place where i was born ..and attend some reunion in school..that was highschool...and very glad to be there and meet same old and some new faces at the reunion which was held at school..which brings back old memories especially on my first year at that sectarian school..i went to the library immediately and remember those school days where i usually spent my time there reading and sometimes been reprimanded by the librarian making some noise together with all my friends having a good time there watching others doing there thing and teasing them ...its like old times were being revived specially all my friends were there and some are happily married, some are still singles and career oriented...what about you ? any similar experiences...?

When I went to my hometown last December 2007 I had the chance to see my school where I went for elementary. And no, I didn't see any of my old classmates from that school but classmates and contemporaries in high school are now teaching there. Your experience is so much better.
I wanted also to visit my secondary school but was too lazy to travel because it was always raining.
Anyway, I also got to visit my college campus and yes, I saw some of my classmates and roommates in the dorm. Oh no, I just realized I have almost visited all my alma mater during my short visit in the Philippines. Oh, it was so much fun.

it is lovely that you are able to go back to the place where you were born and even attend a reunion. meeting old friends, old faces is sometimes nostalgic. if you have fond memories growing up and you enjoyed being with them, seeing them again for the first time is just the happiest a person could be. sometimes, reunions help you see the person that you miss the most but never have a clue on how to connect with them.
although not all reunions and homecomings are happy, going back to where you have started is still a good thing to do. you get to see how much you have grown- or not. you get to see how you have used the lessons and values that your elders or teachers have taught you.
i haven't attended any reunions yet but i would love to attend one and see how the people of yesteryears are today. i want to catch up with them and see how they are doing and just talk and exchange pleasantries. it is good to see what has become of your playmates, classmates, frenemies, teachers, etc etc.
