Things Going on Sale AFTER the fact

So, I bought these two really cute skirts from Gap about a month ago- they're cotton, have elastic in the waistband, and have pockets. They cost $34 dollars each when I got them. I went back to Gap today to pick up a tank top and in the Sale section- the exact same skirts I bought, only more than 50% off. One color of them was only $6 (it was white and extremely transparent- not worth the trouble). Anyone else get annoyed when this sort of thing happens?

Among some other things that are my pet peeves I'd have to say that this comes pretty high on my list. And ya know what? Having a strategy doesn't work either. A shop I frequent tends to put their stuff on sale after a few weeks. But if I restrain myself and actually wait then often it's not there anymore. Oh sure in a sickly colour or in a size that even mini-me couldn't get into. So what I do is just ignore it and be happy I got mine in the colour I wanted and the size that's right. I know it's not a consolation for you but otherwise you can drive yourself nuts with things like that!
