I love rebates and coupons

I hate to spend money, but I love to spend money and then get money back. I just bought a grill at a hardware store and I am going to get half of the money back in a rebate. In a few weeks I will be getting $20 rebate check from the grill company in the mail. It is like getting a present. I love rebates! I also bought other things there and I made even more money on top of the rebate because I went shopping on line and use Big Crumbs. I used "ship to store free."
I love Big Crumbs. It has over 200 name brand stores inside that you can choose from and when you shop thru Big Crumbs you get money back in your account. I even can get ship to store for free on many online stores. All you have to do is log in to Big Crumbs, find your favorite store, click on the link, and shop. You get great deals and before you shop, you will see what % you will get just for shopping. It goes directly into your Big Crumbs account and they pay you via paypal with out even requesting it. It is just like a constant rebate in your paypal. If you want to learn more or ask me questions, make me your friend and email me or just check out my profile.
I hardly ever but anything unless it is on sale, has a rebate or I have a coupon. I get really excited when I have a coupon AND it is on sale or has a rebate. My husband laughs at me when I get excited over things like this, but I hate to spend money. He went to the grocery store with me not long ago and thought that there was a problem at the register. The cashier rang everything up, I gave her my savings club card and all my coupons and we saw the total drop drastically. Well, then the cashier had to call her supervisor and turn her light to blinking, my husband gave me a look and I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled. The cashier needed her supervisor's key to override my sale because I saved more than 50% of the price of all the items I bought. He was amazed to see that work, the club card and the coupons saved us $80. The bill was originally $149 and change and I only had to pay $69 for all the groceries.

Sad that these sites do not work so well for international members
I am in Italy and we don't get much chance to use them like in USA
However offline is a different story. We get points when we do the shopping in certain shops and these points are added up and can then be exchanged for a gift from a catalogue or into moeny vouchers which can be used then to pay for the next groceries.
My offline bank also runs something similar. Every time I get my wages paid into my account directly I get 100 points. That is frine when I'm doing part-time jobs - two jobs = two wages = 200 points! If I pay the bills from my account with direct debit that's more points. These are allthings I would donormally so I don't bother about thepoints then I get lovely surprise when I see how manyhave accumulated.
p.s. this was an older discussion but is still so valid and I feel it should get more interest hence the reason I revived it

Hi Mysdianait, Thanks so much for your response. It is a shame that these programs are not good for international users.
My offline bank also offers a reward program. For every dollar we spend using our credit/debit card as a credit which we need to sign for, we get one point. We also get points of online bill pay and direct deposits. We can save our points to buy many things in the reward program. I tend to forget about that and just let them accumulate to get better products. I also have shopping member cards that give us great discounts, free food items and money off your next order.
I try to utilize as many rebates, member cards, coupons and any other saving devices I can find. It has become a challenging game for me to save money where ever I can. Thanks again for responding and have a great day.
