Today I decided I wanted a grilled sandwich for lunch and I like to spice mine up and today I tried something new! turkey swiss cheese on one side kraft pepper jack cheese on the other. I grilled the sandwich and then opened it up and put lettuce, a few cool ranch doritos and some goldfish on it. Closed it up and ate! It was very good. Definitely something i'll make again. so what kind of sandwiches have you invented?

I have never created a sandwich, but I remember my son once being so proud when he made me a sandwich by taking one piece of bread, rolling up a piece of bologna, then folding the bread. He was 4 and for some reason the meal tasted great to me.

Other than putting potato chips in the sandwich about the only thing we do different here is to put apple chunks in with the tuna salad. Something my mom started doing when we were kids and it's really good. Marsha

Once I crushed up Lays potato chips and added them to my hotdog sandwich. Well it was just the one piece of bread with a hotdog, but that qualifies as sandwich, I think! LOL!

That sounds yummy!! I'm not very inventive but years ago I invented a fried egg sandwich. You put peanut butter on one of the slices of bread. Add some bacon, lettuce, a touch of grape jam, cheese and sweet pickles and you have a yummy, yummy sandwich!!

It's possible this isn't unique, and that someone else has coincidentally invented the same sandwich, but mine is........ Two slices of wholegrain bread, thickly spread with strong flavoured cheese spread or other strong soft cheese. Add a tiny sprinkling of finely chopped walnuts, a generous serving of watercress, and a small finely sliced raw mushroom, then pack with large prawns - press the sandwich down firmly, eat and enjoy!
