David Cook won, for once i'm actually suprised by the outcome of American Idol!

Now, mind you. I really really wanted David Cook to win but as i've seen past shows where people of great talent get dropped off early on in the show, i'm suprised this is how it turned out. David Cook definitely had the voice, the fans and everything else so he should rightfully have won, but I was actually expecting Archuleta to win. I didn't really like him when it came to singing.. or anything really, as he's so fake & just well, everything about him seems unrealistic, and it just bugged me! But, with him lasting as long as he did all the way up to the finale I was really astonished & I was pretty sure that he would win even though he was definitely undeservant of the title. Did the results of this years American Idol suprise you? It definitely did for me. I am really glad that David Cook did win though, he really does deserve it.

I was suprised also, but I feel like for the first time since season 4 the right person won! =] I think the show would've been much more entertaining though with Michael Johns, Carly Smithson and Cook as the final 3. Honestly, I would've loved to see a Johns vs. Smithson finale. But I'm stoked he won and his album is amazing!

It did not surprize me. I would have been surprized if David Cook had been voted out early and not made it to the finals. My bet since top 24 has been David Cook because he is cool, a confident performer, and a great singer. Although David Archuleta showed some promise to win, It's David Cook that I am expecting to win and he did. I am very glad that he did win the American Idol 7 because he is the most deserving among all the contestants.

I think little David sill has much growing up to do . Sometimes, he would get on my nerves as well .
I love David Cook for his originality. He truly is gifted in many ways. He also speaks and carries himself well. I can't picture what little David would do with all these interviews . I was shocked when David Cook won, but no one deserved it more.

I think the right person won but early in the show i knew David A. would be there in the end. I wasn't sure about Cook until about half way into the season then i knew he would be the other there. I'm not sure why you dislike David A. so much. Sometimes people have a dislike for somebody that defies reason. I felt David A. has a real passion for music it is his life, he put his heart into many of his performances, granted not all and he came accross in those as theatrical but the judges called him out on it. So i guess I am thinking he is a very talented young man but he did not had the appeal of David Cook.
