What picture is on your desktop?

Well, recently I enjoy photography and graphic-designing. They are so fun and can stimulate my creativity. I've made some wallpapers from pictures I have. Some are from my own pictures, and some from the internet. Now I put a picture of a rowing-boat team as my wallpaper. I got the pic from Flickr.com. It belongs to Petervanallen (http://www.flickr.com/photos/petervanallen). The original photo has title "row row row your boat". That's so beautiful look, suitable to get best composition award, I think. I have it edited with Adobe Photoshop CS. As I like it to be a motivational wallpaper, then I add a quote "If there is no wind, row!" ~ Proverb. I modified the original size (836*836) to be 1024*768. this is my desktop back ground.. - I look so tired, sad in that picture. but I think I still look fine.
I am using my own photo as my desktop background. If you'll look at my photos, you'll see how sad my eyes is..LOL. I look so tired in there but still I think I look fine.

Mine is a wallpaper I made in my graphic design class ^.^. It has a picture of my guitar combined with this 'No Trespassing' sign I took a picture of a while back at my cousin's house. It blends quite well and I love how it turned out. I don't know if we're supposed to paste the picture or not, but if anyone's interested in seeing it I'd be glad to share it with you.

I have the picture of a sphere as the wallpaper.. it represents earth, moon, stars and all the spherical things in the universe.. i dont use colourful pictures as it will make some icons not to appear distinctly as icons..

It seems you like freedom... I do! (``,) Sometimes I put such kind of pictures too. You're right, there must be darker space to place the icons. I consider it whenever making wallpapers. Have a great time, Systems!

Hi sukandar_ag! I imagine that it is indeed a beautiful scene of a rowing boat on sea and the quote that you have posted adds more inspiration/motivation to anyone looking at it. The wallpaper I have on my laptop is a meadow full of beautiful flowers under a perfect blue sky. I really don't know where my hubby got it from but I sure have asked him to put a wallpaper that will make me feel so relaxed and calm. And he sure put one up for me, and I like it very much. I generally put pictures on the desktop which were taken by me with my digital camera.I change one every two days. Right now there is one pic which is a close up of a 'water drop'.

my current - desktop photo
my desktop photo on my kids computer (which is where I am since my computer wont let me post here at mylot for some reason) isnt a photo that I took..In fact I very rarely use my photos on any of the computers as my desktop pic for some reason... this is the pic i have on right now.
