is it advisable to have lcd screen in cars on the dash board??? will it effect the driver's concentration??? your views please

Its not at all adviced to install an LCD screen on the dash cos it distracts the driver very much. Even roof mounted screens do distarct a lot. If you are so particular about having an LCD screen , have them in the headrests of the front seats, It would entertain the rear passengers . This is what one of my friends has done.
