Is really a small messes can lead to cancer?

i have my friend here,and she has this small mass in her underarm. But its not painful and actually its not a hard one like any other mass.Actually she consulted it already to the doctor,and the doctor says that theres nothing to worry about that. But she keeps on asking me if really a small mass especially in the under arm can cause breast cancer?

As far as I know not all mass or lumps that you feel are malignant or cancerous cells. Sometimes its just an ordinary lump of abnormal cells that clump together as one. Ine symptom is that the lump may feel like round and smooth to the feel. Cancerous cells are mostly rugged when felt. Most of it are not easily detected by just mere touching is as they usually start inside and seldom from the outside. To better checked it you should undergo either ultrasound or the traditional mammography to be sure.
