old coins-collection

as a child we normally develop some hobbies. collecting coins is one of them .who amongst you had this hobby ? and are you still continuing with it ? if not why not? i for one have been one of the coin /currency collector and continuing till today .and will love to add to my kitty.what have your hobbies been ?

yeah i have a few coins. what i feel that in india the coins have a rather bigger history and variety than any other country in the world.i dont want to create any controversy here but going by the change i have witnessed i feel i am correct.i invite comments from the more knowledgeable people out here.

sure india being under mughals, british and local kings ruling the land for many years has a great variety perhaps the richest in the world o coins!!!i would like to invite the historians to comment on this!!!!!!
