Guys... do you know about http://www.nature.org ?
It's The Nature Conservancy site - a conservation community. I just got an invitation e-mail to participate in nature photo contest held by them. Photo sumbissions must be uploaded by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
If you have Flickr account, why not you join the contest?

Hi sukandar_ag! I have heard about the competition and have checked the site since I wish to join but one of the requirements is I have to submit a photo taken from a digicam slr. Too bad, my digicam is not a high end camera.

I have entered this contest once this year, and will be entering it again by October. I now feel I have a better idea of what it would take to even get an honorable mention in this contest. After looking at other entries earlier this year I knew I wouldn't even be placing lol. Before entering it would be a good idea to go to the site and look at past winners and entries, and then choose your pictures to enter, since it is limited to two entries per person. Whatever you do, don't keep from entering, you never know who the judges will be or what they are looking for. Good luck to anyone who enters.
