ideas for squash

I love the yellow crookneck squash marinated in Italian dressing and grilled. Pattypan is good when sauteed with bacon and onions. My favorite thing to do with squash I discovered by accident. When I was canning last year I had an over abundance of zucchini. I diced it up and added it to my last batch of spaghetti sauce. When my friends tasted my "Italian zucchini" they went crazy! I am going to make a double batch of that this year. It is great to eat as a side dish or even to add to a soup. Spaghetti squash is great with some butter and garlic salt or a bit of spaghetti sauce. Use your imagination and I am sure you will think of many other ways to cook your squash.
