I've seen an exhibit of photos taken with lomo cams....And they're really nice pictures!! the colors are vibrant...the lighting is so different... So what's a lomo cam. Forgive my ignorance but can someone enlighten me regarding this?
Thank you in advance :)

Hi! Im not really sure what is the exact definition of a lomo cam but I know that they are unique cameras with different specialties. There's a lomo cam that takes different colors of the original(color splash). There's one that takes pictures that might be seen like how a fish sees it(fisheye). I think there is also a black and white one. and my personal favorite, the lomo cam that takes 4 pictures at once.^_^ I do know that lomography started in Russia or I think that was where the lomo cam came from. Anyways I think what a lomo cam does is to jazz up you're snapshots. Like you can do lomography with an ordinary camera but you have to exaggerate the effects. Like extreme blues, reds, or there is also an infrared one but I think that is another thing. For more information on the lomo cam visit this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lomography and this site is everything about lomography: http://www.lomography.com/
Hope that helps, goodluck and have fun!^_^
