Summer Projects Anyone?

Does anyone have any projects going on this summer? Are you trying to get some work done on your house? Get a hot rod running? Or anything special this summer?
I have a lot going on. I am in the middle of a partial kitchen remodel and vinyl siding my house. I am really excited about both.
My kitchen cabinets are really old and odd shaped, so it will be nice to get new cabinets and flooring.
Plus, I'm installing a new kitchen window which is smaller than the ones that are there now. This is why I had to start on both projects in the same year.
What about anyone else? New flower gardens? New vegetable gardens?

well we are hoping to paint this summer because we are hoping to move not to a bigger house, but to a flatter house! in the last year i have found it very difficult to go up and down the stairs due to severe arthritis in my knees, so that is the plan.

Doesn't sound like painting will be too much fun either, especially if you have to climb up and down a ladder.
But it is the payoff in the end that will make it all worthwhile. One of my friends had to take out her garage and turn it into a bedroom because of Lupus, so I understand what you are saying.

I will be working on my house too. My kitchen ceiling I have got to do. I am also going to be painting because I am sick of wood panels in my house. I wanted a garden but I think I may be too late to do that but we will see.

I don't have any summer projects planned yet. I may decide though to clean out the junk room and de-clutter some other rooms then have a yard sale to earn a little extra money.
