I used to really shy with girls but now most of my closest friends are all girls. I dunno I just get along with better now. I also find it interesting how ladies react differently with situations compared to a guy. I think I just along with girls because it's like a learning process for both of us. She asks me about a guy's point of view and I too ask her about a girl's point of view. We both listen and respect each other's opinion. Kinda like Yin/Yang or something lol.

When I was little my best friend was my female cousin, because we were always hanging out and I would go to her house to spend the night on the weekends, now I have two best friends, one of them is my fiance, who I can tell anything too,and she is always there for me,and I love her with all of my heart and soul, and the other is a guy I met when I was a senior in high school, and we have a lot in common, and we have the same birthday which I think is one of the reasons that we ended up becoming best friends.

I have plenty of male friends. They are purly platonic. We are not romantically involed, at all. My husband also has platonic female friends.

For 13 years my best friend was a guy. I told him everything. We were like family. Sometimes when we introduced each other to people we told them we were brother/sister. I think males and females can be friends.

I am a female, My best friend of all time is a male. I have known my friend john since kindergarten, and we have a "love hate" realtionship... he just recently got sent into the army, and quite frankly i dont know what im going to do without him... even though we were of different genders, me and john enjoyed all of the same things, we knew eachother very well, so we knew our anger limits, which made it alot easier to deal with. we also had different views on subjects, so we were always debating some type of topic! i loved it hearing different advice, i think in a situation like this i would think of john less as a male as one of the girls, we talked about EVERYTHING relationship, family, school, EVERYTHING. he thaught of me as more of one of the guys, it was easier that way because there no limits on what we could and couldnt talk about. i never had many girl friends only because i find myself to be more of a do-my own thing than a materialistic girlie girl like most of the girls i meet. i have some girl friends, and i love thenm just as much, but i think it was good for me to be best friends with john this long because i got seperate views on male feelings, as well as he got views from a females point of view, i learned alot throughout our friendship and i can say even now that hes gone that hell always be my best friend, and ill never let his friendship go.
